We explored our new home and garden, picked up some lovely new furniture including that yummy green chair , ordered a pizza and spent the evening unwrapping/assembling the lovely new furniture... Linus helped by driving his matchbox cars over all the pieces and throwing the instructions into the air. We walked to the Heritage Days festival on Sunday, found out that rice pudding makes Linus gag, walked home with full bellies, finally picked out a few paint colours for the house, and missed watching our Sunday night TV shows... Today was a pretty relaxing day. We packed up a few boxes and this evening Linus and I enjoyed a BBQ dinner with my family! Evan is on a beer league ball team and his last game was tonight which is why he had to miss out on dinner. Not even kidding, he really does play on a ball team! It's slow pitch. They lost... But, they went out for drinks afterwards and apparently put on some sort of performance... on a stage...with instruments... including a kazoo... I think he had a good night.
I'm off to catch up on Breaking Bad, True Blood and Curb Your Enthusiasm now before sneaking up to bed. I really should be going to sleep instead... It's a busy week ahead filled with moving, decorating, packing, Wicked and Folk Fest! As stressful as a busy schedule and moving can be, I really can't complain!
p.s. As a way to promote my itty bitty shop while it's on hold, I'm giving away something special at Freckled Nest blog in her July Big Giveaway!
