Look What We Made!

Evan had to work this Sunday so Linus and I made a few pretty Easter eggs! It was so much fun. We chose to use all natural dyes made using plant, fruit and vegetable extracts, like blueberries and beetroot! I love the way they turned out. Linus spent most of his time oohin and ahhing while I dyed. He dunked a few eggs in too, but just wasn't as in to it. He thought it was funner to stir the cups of dye with a spoon and splash it out onto the paper towel. In fact, he thought it was pretty flippin' hilarious. He did grow quite fond of this grey-ish purple egg. He carried it around the house with him for a short while, until it inevitably fell and cracked... Luckily we made two purple eggs.
